It’s not often that products come along that solve issues so thorny that they impact the pace of innovation of other software everywhere. So when we began speaking with Edith Harbaugh and John Kodumal prior to their Series A and heard what they planned for LaunchDarkly as the first-ever enterprise feature management platform — something that would actually help companies de-risk the development process and move faster — we immediately took notice.

Since then, they’ve continued to live up to their promise: Since launching in 2014, LaunchDarkly’s platform has helped thousands of companies all over the world become nimble, software-driven organizations. Today, it serves peaks of 20 trillion feature flags daily! They give developers the ability to move fast, and let other teams gain control — even after deployment. So it’s no wonder that companies as diverse as QVC to SAP to Intuit (and 22 of the Fortune 100) turn to LaunchDarkly to make them better.

Really, it might be easy to look at LaunchDarkly’s success and think all this was a foregone conclusion, even back then. But it’s really just another testament to the LaunchDarkly team’s vision, experience, and remarkable execution.
